CervicalCheck – The National Cervical Screening Programme provides free smear tests (cervical screening) to eligible individuals in Ireland to help detect early changes in cervical cells.

Who Is Eligible?

CervicalCheck screening is available to:

• Women aged 25 to 65 who are registered with the programme

If you are eligible, you will receive an invitation letter from CervicalCheck when your screening is due.

Is the Test Free?

Yes, CervicalCheck smear tests are free of charge when performed as part of the national screening programme.
